A single rose and a flip-ring of real reasons, ending on the question.

What to put on the sign
βTen reasons, one rose, one question. HOCO?β
One line, big letters. If it needs a second read, cut it down.
The plan
Skip the big bouquet and hand over one good rose plus a small ring of index cards bound on a metal loop. Each card is one real, specific reason you want to go with them, in your own handwriting. No generic lines. The last card flips to the ask. It sticks because they can hold it and reread it later.
